On Wednesday, July 5th, the NHS celebrates its 75th anniversary, and Their Royal Highnesses arrived early to assist in setting up for the party, including arranging the tables and putting the
finishing touches on the birthday cake.
The royal couple attended the NHS Big Tea Party, organized by NHS Charities Together, of which they are patrons. They were joined by television presenter Mel Giedroyc, as well as representatives from the workforce and patients spanning the past 75 years.
William and Catherine engaged in conversations with guests, including Aneira Thomas, who holds the distinction of being the first baby born in the NHS, and pioneering researchers. Blanche Hines, a member of the Windrush generation, also attended the event with three generations of her family.
Their Royal Highnesses also sent a video message to the NHS to commemorate the anniversary, stating: "Wishing everyone a very happy 75th birthday for the NHS. Thank you so much for all you do."

The Prince and Princess of Wales have been patrons of NHS Charities Together since December 2020. The NHS Big Tea Party, now in its sixth year, brings together the United Kingdom to provide much-needed support to staff, patients, and volunteers.
