Marks & Spencer (M&S), one of the UK’s largest and most well-known retail chains, announced that its 50,000 store employees will receive a 5% pay increase starting April 1. This wage boost
represents an investment of £95 million ($122 million).
The company confirmed on Wednesday that UK customer assistants will see their hourly wage rise to at least £12.60.
